Our organisation is Hank’s Brands Limited

We are a manufacturer.

Our retail partner stores are happy to help you with all in store purchases, however if you would like your jam order sent out to you please place your order online or phone 02-9695-1588 as the retail stores do not have the facilities to send Hank’s Jams to you.

Your Personal Information

Because of the nature of our business it is necessary to obtain personal information from time to time. We will however not be unduly intrusive nor obtain or use your information in an inappropriate manner. We will only ask for and use personal information we reasonably need to conduct our business.

If you have received any promotional material and do not wish to receive it then let us know and we will not send it to you.

Reserved Rights

We reserve the right to cancel any order, at which time, we will immediately notify this action by e-mail or phone, using the e-mail address or number/s provided. We will refund the monies paid using the original method received.

We reserve the right to cancel an order subject to availability of products. As fruit is seasonal our products are offered subject to their availability.

We also reserve the right to take reasonable steps to verify that the order and credit details provided are bona fide.

Refunds

Should we not be able to fulfil your order for any reason we will refund your payment within 2 days and inform you of the reason for non fulfillment.

Responsibility

We cannot accept responsibility for delays in delivery due to unforeseen circumstances eg strike, flood.

Hank’s Jam Pricing Policy

We try to keep our prices consistent with our retailer partner and online stores. Special product promotions that appear on our online store are only available when ordering online unless otherwise stated.

GST

Jam is a product exempt from GST. All prices in the online store are therefore exempt from GST. GST is however payable on shipping charges.

Deliveries

Please allow 3 to 7 days for delivery. We deliver by courier and your signature is required upon delivery, therefore we recommend a work address if more convenient. If no one is available to sign for the parcel 2 more attempts will be made to deliver the parcel before return to Hank’s Jam. Sorry no C.O.D.

A Respect for Your Privacy

Hank’s Jam respects your right to privacy. We know that providing personal information is an act of trust and we take that seriously.

Personal information for our business purposes is to be minimal, private, correct, safe and largely in your control. Except where otherwise legally appropriate we will treat your personal information as private.

i. Your personal information is collected to enable us:

1. to process your orders and/or
2. to inform you of special promotions, new jams and changes to the Hank’s Jam business that may be of interest to you. (Note: you may choose not to receive these types of notifications) and
3. to improve our services to you

ii. We will only ask for and use personal information we reasonably need to conduct our business. We will not hold your personal information for any other purpose.

iii. Only on a need to know basis will some of your information be passed on to our delivery couriers to enable accurate and timely delivery of your orders and/or promotional materials. Where appropriate and allowed by law we may also provide information to our collection agency.

As part of us keeping your personal information private we only allow access on a need-to-know basis. It is important for us that persons with whom we do business have confidence that we handle information responsibly and it is our policy to do this.

Your Access and Control

However, in accordance with privacy law we give you access to your personal information we hold and you can correct misinformation (except where it would be inappropriate or exempted by law e.g - where it would require disclosing someone else's personal information, but we will provide you with reasons).
